The second single from Tanks "Sex, Love, & Pain" album was a solemn ballad called "Heartbreaker." Often times in R&B music, and most music in generally, when find the man doing wrong, being a cheater, an abuser, or a jerk in general. Tank turns this old notion around and croons a tune that finds the man asking his significant to be honest with him.
However, as noted in the song, sometimes learning the truth can be heartbreaking. It's never relayed exactly what Tanks significant other did but it is clear that whatever it was has immensely hurt him. He even sings that he "Thought the truth was something I (he) could take but it wasn't supposed to feel like a heartbreak." Yeah, women do dirt, too.
