As I eagerly await Jojo's third album, her mixtake "Can't That Away From Me" will have to suffice. Mixtape track, "When Does It Go Away" featuring Travis Garland is the best song on the collection and is a really winner, as far as I'm concerned.
The song was when does love go away after a breakup. Interestingly, both individuals appear to be struggling with the same issue; however, they are simultaneously pretending that everything is OK. Seems to me like a catch 22, where both parties need to realize that they aren't done, yet, and that maybe they should try again.
Jojo's voice has definitely matured over the years, and Travis notably holds his own on the track. Here's to both of them releasing albums soon. We need more artists with actual vocal talent on the airwaves.
