I wasn't immediately taken by this song; however, over time, it grew on me immensely. "It Kills Me" is the best song off of Melanie Fiona's debut album. It is so strong and filled with emotion that it's one of the strongest debut (actually second...) singles I have heard in a long time.
Melanie had ever women scorned asking "Should I be a lady, oh maybe, cause I want to have his babies..." A multi-week #1 on the R&B charts, the raw emotion and passion that is easily felt within this song is undeniable. She should definitely craft more material similar to "It Kills Me."
